You've got a pretty steady schedule of morning events now - you wake up (at 6:00 am bless your little heart) I bring you into our bed with your bottle, and you drink all but the last ounce and then without fail every single morning you sprinkle that last ounce on anything within the length of your little baby arm. Shake, shake shake, on the pillows, my face, daddy's face and even on occasion your face - which you find pretty funny. You have this air of, "come on YOU GUYS, the sun is up - it's time to play!" But we don't go to bed at 7:30 like you, so we try to steal some more sleep while you crawl around our comatose bodies, like a hiker braving a mountain range. The blinds are your next toy, you pull yourself up and walk your little chubby legs through all the pillows, holding tight to the headboard, and start grabbing at the bendy parts and waving around the blind wand as if you know some magic. It is 6:00 am but still I can't help laughing at how proud of yourself you are. You are growing up so quickly that I like to wrap up these early morning moments and put them in my pocket.
