38/52

This week was fairly rough for you kid.  We had the most lovely days, so sunny and warm, there was just one problem, your mom and brother were like two zombies passed out on the carpet with a few zinger colds.  I managed to snap these photos of you playing outside on your Unicorn, because even when sick I can't help but see fantastic moments that need to be documented... I think sometimes you would prefer that I were too sick to pick up my camera, but you humored me and as I look at these my heart is singing. That entire day you communicated things to me by yellling, "Mom! Yee-haw, yee-haw, YEE-HAW!" translation: "Mom! Wesley is on top of the table!"  Part of me was a little annoyed that you couldn't tell me something that important in plain old english but a MUCH bigger part of me never wants you to speak boring grown up talk ever again.  I can feel these beautiful kid moments slipping through my fingers as I watch you growing taller and learning more every day.  It breaks my heart to think that you won't always be running around hollering "yee-haw" and playing make believe with your ponies in the back room - but I am also on-the-edge-of-my-seat excited to see what you choose to do with your life. You are a tiny little bundle of incredible.
