40/52

It's hard to believe that we are playing outside every evening in the middle of February.  You two are not complaining... except of course when I won't allow you, Wesley, to fall over and over on Lily's balance bike and instead put it in the shed... then there is A LOT of complaining with tears involved.  Luckily you tend to get over things rather quickly and are soon climbing the stairs to the tree house to cook us something.  I'm glad that you're not afraid of the spiders (possibly imaginary) that your sister claims are living in the play kitchen and aren't insisting that we just get a new one.  Come spring I'm sure she'll be surprised to find out that she will be the one in charge of spraying the whole thing out --- FACE YOUR FEARS!  Lily loves taking you down the slide, although I'm not sure you enjoy it as much as she does.  That slide is known for it's speed and occasionally there's a rough and tumble at the end and everyone has wood chips in their pants, but man you've got a good sister; she gives you kisses and hugs and wipes away your tears --- it's enough to make your heart melt into a giant puddle.
