We took ourselves on a girl date last night. They are your absolute favorite; no little brother in-tow just you and me and being girly. You put on your prettiest dress, borrowed some perfume and insisted I put some lipstick on you, because that's what girls do when they're going out. Sometimes I forget how great it is to have one on one time with you. We laughed as the kite twirled in circles in the sky, occasionally hitting us smack in the face; we both squealed when I picked up my camera to find an entire colony of baby spiders crawling all over it, we both know that we are brave but sometimes you just have to scream at hundreds of little baby spiders; and we explored patches of spring green and made a quick run (up a hill) to the bathroom when nature was calling rather desperately.
I love that you're getting older and we can have real full on memory making moments together, you really are just a great little person to be around.
